MOOOOD Privacy Policy

Updated:

Information storage

MOOOOD works offline. When you are signed out, journal entries, photos and mood records are stored on your device. After you sign in, existing and newly created content automatically syncs to the cloud for backup and access across devices.

Accounts and permissions

Signing in uses your email address or authorized third-party account information. Camera, photo library and notification permissions are used only to take photos, add images and remind you to write. We do not sell your personal information or use your journal content for advertising.

Journal encryption

When you set a journal password, entry text and summaries are encrypted before storage and synchronization. The password stays on your device and is never uploaded. Without a password, text and summaries are not encrypted. Photos, moods, dates and other metadata are outside the scope of journal password encryption. Keep your password safe: encrypted entries may be unrecoverable if you forget it.

Deleting data

You can delete entries in the app. Once you are signed in and online, their cloud copies are also deleted. You can also delete your account in Settings to remove the account and its associated cloud data. Signing out or uninstalling the app alone does not delete cloud data.

Policy updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time and display the updated date on this page. Please check periodically for the latest information.
